The Veterans travelled to Beaudesert.
Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a Stableford competition. The winner was M Maynard with 34 pts, runner up A Brown with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by A Leary on 4/13 while M Maynard received 8/17. Thanks to the Australian Hotel for their continued support. This Wednesday will be a stableford competition for a club trophy. Next Wednesday will be a stroke/monthly medal competition. This will be the 2nd round of WGQ Brooch as well as the 1st round of International Bowl.

Wednesday was sponsored by H Gwynne playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was R Scells with 25 pts ocb from runner up A Stick & D Forsyth. The run down continued with K Rhodes, E Newlove, M Hassan & W Wieland 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M Maudsley on 13, A Stick received 17, while R Cuneo received 18. Friendly Fridays’ had 32 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner ocb was R Wilkie from runner up P King and I Browning with 34 pts. The run down went L Edwards & T Alchin 23 pts, B Brown, A Heit, N Hooke & A Leary 19 pts followed by J Potter, W Martin, G Lutter & R Eacott with 18 pts. Nearest the pin was received by A Heit. The NAGA was received Z Eviston.
Saturday
Saturday was the Beasley Bash, sponsored by the Beasley Boys. This was the Anzac Day Cup (Australia V New Zealand). The winner was C Wilson with 60 net, runner up S Panitz 68 net, followed by J Buganey 70 net, A Heit, K Wilson & S Francis 71 net, T Lynch, K Eugarde, D Mortimer, B Humrich, & G Philp 72 net, and D Ryan 73 net ocb. The ladies winner was J Edwards ocb from runner up L Edwards with 71 net, followed by A Leary 74 net. The rundown went to W Gnech, T Alchin, B Perrem, B Beasley & M Gnech with 73 net. Pin shots were received by Stacey Edwards on 1/10, 2/11 was received by G Eviston, 3/12 was received by S Fahey, M Davis & J Baulch recieved 4/13, 5/14 was received by P King, 6/15 was received by A Heit, while 7/16 was received by K Sawtell, 8/17 was received by V Christensen & G Buganey while 9/18 was received by B Gotke. The best gross for the day was received by A Heit with 74 off the stick. The Anzac Cup was won by New Zealand with 2735 to 2855. The Money Pin was received by S Fahey.
