Monday the Veterans began their 2016 year playing a stableford competition. The winner was M Sim with 41 pts, runner up R Parnell 40 pts. The run down went to P Sheffield & M Hassan 38 pts and C Shannon, P Cooper & V Christensen 35 pts. The pin shots were received by V Christensen on 4/13 while R Fitzgerald received 8/17. The Encouragement Award was received by G Ball while the Membership Draw went to M Sim.

Wednesday was sponsored by B Davey playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was P Willett with 29 pts, runner up A Heit ocb from S Fahey with 26 pts. The run down went to G Searle 25 pts, followed by R Cuneo, M O’Reilly & M Matthews 24 pts. Pin shots were received by J McGrath on 4, A Featherstone recieved 8, while W Gnech received 9. Friendly Fridays’ had 31 golfers tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was V Wilson with 23 pts, runner up A Leary with 22 pts followed by V Riley ocb with 21 pts. The run down went to Bruce May 21 pts, M Hassan, J Handley, J Lynch Brendon May & A Heit 19 pts, followed by W Martin & K Reinholdsson with 18 pts. The pin shot was received by L Edwards. The Ladies winner was K Cook with 68 net, runner up Z Eviston ocb with 74 net. The rundown went to S Francis 68 net, S Fahey & R Cuneo 69 net, followed by B May, A Featherstone, B Lawrance, & Max Surawski 70 net, B Gotke, A Bennett, T Grimshaw, C Shannon & G Ball 71 net and C Perrem & P Lefrancke 72 net.
