Wednesday was the last round of the Championships playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was W Hall with 43 net, runner up M McGarrity with 45 net. The run down went to B May 46 net, L Vandenbrink, N Hooke & D Webster 47 net, followed by W Maudsley, E Newlove & J Browning 48 net and G Parker, L Blunt, G Lutter, A Stick, G Eviston & S Fahey 49 net. Pin shots were received by W Maudsley on 13, J Browning recieved 17 while J McGrath received 18. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by M Hassan. The best gross for the day was won by W Maudlsey with 48 off the stick. Arthur Hertweck’s ham winner was B May. The Best Gross for the Championships sponsored by W Gnech was won by W Maudsley with 99 off the stick. The A Grade winner was B May with 89 net, B Grade winner W Hall 92 net & C Grade winner was M Maudsley with 95 net. This week will be sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Sporters will have a break and will resume on 6th January.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 25 golfers tee off playing a sableford back 9 competition. The winner was S Riley with 25 pts, runner up I Browning 24 pts, followed by S Edwards 23 pts, R Brooks, J Browning & S Oppermann 22 pts, M Hassan & V Riley 21pts and L Edwards, V Christensen & K Rhodes 20 pts. The pin shot was received by I Browning while the NAGA went to L Rhodes. Summer times have kicked so we will be teeing off at 3 pm. Be there at 2.45 to have your name down.

Saturday’s competition was sponsored by sponsored by J McGrath, P King, J Handley & R Eacott, playing a stableford/ monthly mug play off. The A Grade winner was R Cuneo with 36 pts ocb. The B Grade winner was G Eviston with 45 pts. The C Grade winner w The ladies winner was K Turner with 67 net, runner up J Edwards 69 net, followed by K Cook 72 net was M Dickson with 40 pts and the ladies winner was M Tress with 36 pts ocb. Pin shots were received by T Lynch on 1/10, 2/11 was received by G Parker, 3/12 was received by G Carter, B Lawrance & K Turner received 4/13, 5/14 was received by J Browning, 6/15 was received by J McGrath, N Toohey received 7/16 while D Mortimer & Z Eviston received 8/17 and T Alchin received 9/18. The rundown went to M Sim 40 pts, G Philp, D Mortimer, C Shannon, S Bailey I Browning & G Lutter 38 pts followed by P DeBeus, P King & J McGrath 37 pts and GParker, J Borwning, N Toohey, T Weatherhead, K Cook & S Hughes with 36 pts. We will have a competition on Sunday the 27th if anybody is interested in playing golf as the club house will be closed on Christmas Day & Boxing Day.
