Wednesday was the 1st round of the Championships. This was a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was B May with 43 net, runner up M Maudsley with 45 net. The run down went to F Johnson & L Blunt 46 net, W Martin & Brendon May 47 net followed by J Gillett, J Potter, M O’Reilly & J Lynch 48 net and M Hassan, W Hall, S Fahey, J Browning, G Lutter & J Handley 49 net. Pin shots were received by B May on 4, S Fahey recieved 8 while J McGrath received 9. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by E Newlove. This week will be the last round of the Championships playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The Best Gross for the Championships is sponsored by W. Gnech currently held by S Fahey with 50 off the stick. The championship divisions are 0-8, 9-16 & 17-24. This will be the Xmas breakup followed by the AGM. Next week will sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 23 golfers tee off playing a sableford front 9 competition. The winner was G Eviston with 26 pts, runner up L Hooke 25 pts and V Christensen 24 pts The pin shot was received by K Rhodes while the NAGA went to B Gerchow. Summer times have now kicked so we will be teeing off at 3 pm. Be there at 2.45 to have your name down.
Saturday
Saturday’s competition was sponsored by G & Z Eviston, W Gnech, J Browning & M Dickson playing the Monthly Medal Play Off. The A Grade winner & Medal of Medals winner was B May with 66 net, runner up R Cuneo 69 net, followed by T Lynch 70 net & A Heit 72 net. The B Grade winner was T Weatherhead with 63 net, runner up A Featherstone 64 net, followed by J Comp 68 net & G Philp 69 net. The C Grade winner was A Browning with 58 net, runner up S Oppermann 64 net followed by K Eugarde & V Riley 70 net. The ladies winner was K Turner with 67 net, runner up J Edwards 69 net, followed by K Cook 72 net and M Tress 79 net. Pin shots were received by K Turner & M Crowther on 1/10, 2/11 was received by A Gill, 3/12 was received by A Featherstone, V Riley & K Turner received 4/13, 5/14 was received by B May, 6/15 was received by A Browning, T Alchin received 7/16 while B May received 8/17 and R Cuneo received 9/18 with an Eagle. The rundown went to J Browning, M Dickson & W Gnech with 66 net, M O’Reilly, S Edwards, T Alchin and D Mortimer 70 net, C Shannon & Z Eviston 71 net and W Hall, G Eviston, B Philp & C Perrem 72 net. This week will be the monthly mug play off playing a stableford competition sponsored by J McGrath, P King, J Handley & R Eacott. (If you have received a mug during the year then you will be in the playoff). Next week will Closing Day sponsored by P Ward & F & L Johnson playing a 2 person Ambrose competition. We will have a competition on Sunday the 27th if anybody is interested in playing golf as the club house will be closed on Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

This week we have a small Social Club teeing off at 7.30, you will be able to have a round in between these if wanting a social round of golf. Ring the club for further details.
