Sporters

Wednesday was sponsored by P Ward playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.  The winner with a massive 35 pts was R Wilkie, (some would be quite happy to have this off of 18 holes not 12), runner up was W Wieland with 27 pts,  followed by G Searle 24 pts.   Pin shots were received by W Hall on 13, A Skinner recieved 17 while B May received 18. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by J Handley.    This week will be sponsored by R Brooks & M Crowther playing a stroke & putting 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.  Next week will be the 1st round of the Championships.  This will be a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.

Friendly Fridays’

Friendly Fridays’ had 18 golfers tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition.  The winner was C Shannon with 23 pts, runner up D Ryan with 22 pts, followed by B Gerchow, J Handley & P King 21 pts and D Mortimer, R Wilkie & V Riley 18 pts.   The pin shot was received L Edwards while the NAGA went to A Leary.   Summer times have now kicked so we will be teeing off at 3 pm.  Be there at 2.45 to have your name down.

Saturday

Saturday’s competition was sponsored by FIS Insurance playing a 4 Ball Ambrose competition. The morning players were washed out because of the storm but the afternoon players just managed to get their game in.  The winners were W Gnech, B Gotke, S Fahey & M Weber with 57&5/8, runners up were M Gnech, G Philp, B May & S Hughes with 58&1/2 followed by G Eviston, T Alchin, R Brooks & D Wall with 58&3/4.  The Social players were C Jorgensen, C Rodham, D Murphy & C Murphy winners, runners up were A Maynard, J Basset, C Smith & L Sellars followed by J Dover, CL Murphy, K Grieves & A Walsh.   Pin shots were received by W Gnech on both  1/10 & 8/17, 2/11 was received by P King, 3/12 C Jorgensen, A Walsh received 4/13, B Gotke received both 5/14 & 6/15. M Weber received 7/16, while S Edwards received 9/18.  The Pro Pin on no 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf is currently held by G Balharry with 229 cm. Sugarloaf Bakery sponsors the Pro Pin on 17 .  This week will be the Boonah Firies Open Day with proceeds going towards the Queensland Fire Fighters Cancer Foundation. Next week will be a stableford/monthly mug competition sponsored by Boonah TyrePower.

Sunday

No social club this week, the clubhouse will open at 8.30 if wanting a game of golf with a buggy, otherwise you may come out and walk at anytime.  Ring the club for further details.  The Challenge Pennants played Laidley at Toogoolawah on Sunday and lost.
