Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 19 golfers tee off playing a stroke back 9 competition for the Big Money Day. The winner was A Jackson ocb from runner up R Brooks 32 net, followed by W Martin 34 net. The best gross for the day was received by B May with 40 off the stick. The pin shots were received by S Fahey, M Hassan & J Handley, while T Alchin received the NAGA. Summer times have now kicked so we will be teeing off at 3 pm. Be there at 2.45 to have your name down.
Saturday
Saturday’s competition was sponsored by Eagle Boys playing a stroke competition. The Pizzas were appreciated by those lucky enough to stay for the presentation thanks to Helen & Joey. The winner ocb was G Lutter from runner up M Hassan with 70 net, followed by V Christensen ocb with 71 net. The run down went to T Lynch, M Bell, M O’Reilly & A Taylor with 71 net, A Hertweck 72 net, followed by M Surawski, L Blunt, A Heit & M McGarrity 73 net and W Gnech, T Grimshaw, J Shine & A Mitchell 74 net. Pin shots were recieved by A Taylor on 3/12, T Grimshaw & K Turner on 4/13, 6/15 M Bourke, N Hughes & K Turner received 8/17, while N Hughes received 9/18. The ladies winner was R Featherstone with 74 net, runner up J Edwards ocb from Z Evistion with 75 net. The Pro Pin on no 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and won by K Turner with .9 m. Sunday
The Challenge Pennants played at Karana Downs against Hatton Vale and went down 3 n 2. This Sunday we have the Challenge Pennants playing so the course will only be available after lunch for social play. Ring the club for further details.
