Veterans

Monday the Veterans was called off  as no buggies were allowed on the course due to the rain.

Sporters

Wednesday was sponsored by E. Newlove & M. O’Reilly playing a Stroke & Putting 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.  The winner was M. Weber with 42 net, runner up was W. Maudsley with 47 net.   Pin shots were received by M. Crowther on 4, W. Maudsley received both 8 and 9.   The best gross for the day was received by W. Maudsley with 47 off the stick.  Warren also received the putts with 16.  The dice sponsored by Dugandan Hotel was won by B. May.   This week will be sponsored by G. Parker playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by Boonah Tyrepower playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.

Friendly Fridays’

Friendly Fridays’ had 23 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competiton.  The winner was G. Miller with 21 pts, runner up was S. Riley ocb from C. Greet.  The pin shot was received by P. Cooper.  This week will be a 2.45 tee off.  Be here at 2.30 to have your name down.

Saturday

Saturday over 80 players turned up for the Fassifern Bushrangers Open Day.  The winner & monthly mug winner was G. Balharry with 38 pts, runner up was R. Cuneo ocb with 37 pts.  The run down went to G. Miller, S. Francis, A. Gill & T. Britton all with 37 pts, followed by S. Edwards & B. May 36 pts and D. Forsyth, W. Martin & V. Christensen with 35 pts. The Ladies winner was Z. Eviston with 35 pts, runner up L. Edwards with 33pts.  The Social winner was S. Lutter with 74 net, runner up K. Wilson with 75 net.  Pin shots were received C. Perrem & D. Wall on 4/13, S. Edwards & A. Brown received 8/17 while A. Gill received 9/18.  The Pro Pin on no 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by D. Wall with 1.38 m.    The Sugarloaf Bakery Pro Pin on 17 is currently held by A. Brown with 5.73m.  This week will be sponsored by Cap Bruchners’ Family as we play the Cap Bruckner Memorial.  This will be a stableford competition.  Next week will be the Beasley Bash playing a stroke competiton, followed by the Boonah Lions Open Day.

Sunday

Sunday the Boonah State School are holding a 4 Ball Ambrose 9 hole competition with proceeds going towards their Chaplaincy,  with Shot Gun Starts at 9.30 & 12.30.  Lots of prizes on offer.  No Social play will be available during these hours.   Ring the club for further details.
