Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by D. Webster playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was S. Fahey with 30 pts (including a eagle on 15), runner up G. Searle with 27 pts. The run down went to D. Forsyth & M. O’Reilly 25 pts and R. Fitzgerald 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M. O’Reilly on 13, 17 was received by R. Scells, while G. Searle received 18. Friendly Friday’s had 21 people tee off for the big money day, playing a stroke back 9 competition. The winner was T. Alchin with 26 net, runner up V. Riley 31 net and A. Stick with 32 net. The nearest the pin was received by A. Featherstone on 13, G. Eviston received 17, while T. Alchin received 3rd shot on 11. The best gross for the day was won by Gerard Eviston with 38. Saturday was the Boonah Rotary Club Open Day (my apologies for calling you the Lions for the last couple of weeks). The Overall winner with 41 pts was W. Browning, runner up ocb was M. Surawski 40 pts. The A. Grade winner was P. King ocb from T. Lynch with 40 pts, followed by M. Gnech 39 pts, P. McNiven & W. Gnech 38 pts and G. Eviston 37 ps. B. Grade winner was G. Philp 39 pts, runner up ocb T. Domjahn followed by R. Watkins 36 pts, N. Toohey 34 pts, P. Dadds 33 pts and D. Mortimer 32 pts. C. Grade winner was B. Philp 40 pts, runner up S. Mudde ocb from D. Bond and L. Vandenbrink 39 pts followed by M. Dickson 38 pts, S. Edwards & J. Shine 37 pts. Ladies winner was L. Edwards 40 pts, runner up K. Turner 34 pts followed by C. Kelly & G. Buganey 33 pts. Sunday
Sunday was the Kare for Kade charity day, playing a 4 ball Ambrose. A. great day was had by all. The winners were M. Simpson, M. Surawski, J. Shine & K. Eugarde, runners up T. Alchin, P. Leath, R. Watkins & M. Weber. Pin shots were received by G. Martin on 1/10, M. Weber received 4/13, T. Moller received 8/17 while B. May received 9/18. This week we have a social club teeing off at 7.30. Social players will be able to tee off after they have finished their round around noon.
