Monday the Veterans held their Open Day playing a Stableford competition. The winner was K. Rhodes with 41 pts, runner up J. Arthur 39 pts ocb. The rundown went to I. Smith 39 pts, T. Zagami & B. Cunningham 37 pts, A. Pritchard, D. Mitchell & J. Potter 36 pts, followed by D. Bass 35 pts, B. Bartholomew 34 pts, D. Yeates, P. Nettles, A. Burns & B. Broderick 33 pts and P. Sheffield, C. Greet, G. Henderson & B. Hall 32 pts. The ladies winner was N. Zagami 33 pts, runner up R. Featherstone 30 pts. The run down went to A. Brown & C. Van Daarlen 29 pts and K. Cook & M. Maynard 24 pts. Pin shots were received by A. Pritchard & N. Zagami on 4/13 while D. Rose & N. Zagami received 8/17. The Membership Draw jackpotted.
Sporters
Sporters was sponsored by B. Davey playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was J. McGrath ocb from runner up R. Lawrance with 46 net. The run down went G. Sippel, W. Maudsley & R. Cuneo with 47 net, R. Brooks 48 net followed by A. Featherstone & M. Crowther 49 net. Pin shots were received by D. Forsyth on 4, T. Weatherhead received 8& 9 was received by W. Maudsley. The best gross was shared by G. Sippel & W. Maudsley with 51 off the stick. Thanks goes to the Dugandan Hotel for the sponsorship of the dice, this week won by A. Stick. We have a small Social Club teeing off at 7am. Ring the clubhouse for further details. Sunday the 30th of March is our Come & Try Day sponsored by Scenic Rim Council. Anybody (children over the age of 6) wishing to come and try the game of golf, ring the clubhouse and come along on the 30th.
