Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 38 pts was J. Arthur, runner up ocb was E. Newlove with 37 pts. The rundown went to K. Rhodes 37 pts, followed by G. Sorensen 36 pts, J. Potter 35 pts, G. Henderson 33 pts and V. Wilson & M. Maynard 32 pts. Pin shots were received by D. Wall on 4/13 while B. Brown & A. Brown received 8/17. The Encouragement Award was received by M. Tress. The Membership Draw was won by M. Tress.
Sporters
Sporters played a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, sponsored by J. Maynard. The winner with 40 net was J. Gillett, runner up S. Edwards 41 net. The run down went to R. Cuneo, W. Maudsley & R. Fitzgerald 45 net, followed by G. Sorensen & D. Forsyth 48 net, and A. Featherstone 49 net. Pin shots were received by M. McGarrity on 4, R. Cuneo received 8, while W. Maudsley received 9. The best gross for the day was shared by W. Maudsley & R. Cuneo with 50 off the stick. Thanks goes to the Dugandan Hotel for the sponsorship of the dice, this week won by W. Hall.
