Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by Boonah Motel as we played the 1st round of the Championships playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was M. O’Reilly ocb from runner up J. McGrath with 46 net. The run down all with 46 net were T. Weatherhead, E. Newlove & R. Cuneo, followed by J. Browning 47 net, B. Brown & S. Edwards 48 net and B. Davey, W. Hall & T. Lynch with 49 net. The pin shots were received by R. Cuneo on 4, G. Eviston received 8, while D. Forsyth received 9. Thanks to the Dugandan Hotel for their sponsorship of the dice, this week won by W. Wieland. The Best Gross was received by J. Browning with 49 off the stick. This week will be the 2nd round of Championships playing 10–18 + 1, 5 & 6. This will be followed by sporters AGM & Xmas Drinks and the clubs AGM will be at 7.30. Next week will be sponsored by B. Brown playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Friday
The Friendly Friday’s had 11 players, playing a stableford front nine competition. The winner was R. Brooks ocb from runner up M. Crowther with 20 pts, followed by K. Reinholdsson 19 pts and B. Hutchinson 18 pts. The pin shot was received M. Crowther. Come and enjoy playing 9 holes of friendly fun teeing off at 3pm……..…………… See you all there.

Sunday we have a Social club teeing off at 7.30 am. Chookies can tee off before 7am. We also have the Pennant players teeing of at 11am. No Social Play until they have played their first 9 holes. Ring the club for further details.
