Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by The Peak Pub playing a stableford 18 hole competition. The winner was B. Hutchinson with 43 pts, runner up L. Vandenbrink 42 pts. The run down went to S. Buchholz & R. Cuneo 39 pts, followed by G. Eviston, M. Crowther & F. Johnson 37 pts and T. Lynch & B. Brown 36 ps. The pin shots were received by M. Crowther on 4/13 and 8/17 while B. May received 9/18. Thanks to the Dugandan Hotel for their sponsorship of the dice, this week won by R. Fitzgerald. This week and next week will be sponsored by Boonah Motel (1st & 2nd round of the Championships), and Wayne Gnech (Best Gross Champion) playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be playing 10–18 + 1, 5 & 6. This will be followed by Xmas Drinks and our AGM.
Friendly Friday
The Friendly Friday’s had 17 players, playing a stroke back nine competition. The winner was A. Featherstone 27 net, runner up A. Heit 34 net, followed by J. Handley and M. Weber 35 pts. The best gross was received by P. King with 37. The pin shots were received by P. King, K. Reinholdsson & J. Handley. Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by Boonah Tyre Power. The winner was M. Sim with 45 pts, runner up ocb was J. Lynch from S. Fahey with 36 pts. Next best were E. Kelly, P. King, C. Shannon, R. Cuneo and R. Philp with 35 pts, followed by B. Bennett 34 pts, M. Simpson & M. Gnech 33 pts, J. McGrath and B. Davey 32 pts, and G. Parker 31 pts. The NAGA was received by R. Fitzgerald with 16 pts. Pin shots were received by P. Eggenhuizen on 4/13 & 8/17 while J. Lynch received 9/18. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by M. McNiece with 660cm. This week will be sponsored by Prosteam as it will be the final ProSteam Cup with triple points on offer. This will also be the Monthly Medal Playoff (If you have won a Monthly Medal during the year you will be in the playoff).
