Wednesday the ladies played a stableford competition for Marlene Zurvas’s Trophy.
The winner with 38 pts was M. Maynard, runner up J. Baulch with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by J. Edwards on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by J. Baulch.
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was F. Johnson with 32 pts, runner up was J. Handley with 31 pts. The run down went to R. Cuneo 28 pts, followed by J. Browning & G. Sippel 27 pts, T. Weatherhead & W. Hall 26 pts, B. Brown, M. O’Reilly, W. Maudsley and R. Brooks 25 pts and S. Fahey, G. Parker, J. McGrath & J. Potter all with 24 pts. The pin shots were received by M. O’Reilly on 4/13, W. Hall received 8/17, while 9/18 was received by J. Browning. Thanks to the Dugandan Hotel for their sponsorship of the dice this week won by E. Newlove. This week will be the Annual Pub Day. Get your teams organized minimum of 6 players. Friendly Friday
The Friendly Friday’s had 15 players, playing a stroke 10-18 competition. The winner was R. Brooks with 32 net, runner up P. King with 33 net, followed by C. Shannon 34 net followed by Z. Eviston, V. Wilson, K. Cook & K. Reinholdsson all with 35 net. The pin shot was won by P. King. Fridays we are now teeing off at 3pm for the summer season. Saturday was sponsored by John Maynard playing a Stableford/Monthly Mug competition. We had winners and runners up prizes in all grades. The A. Grade winner and monthly mug winner was a new member E. Kelly with 42 pts, runner up J. Worley 41 pts. B. Grade was won by W. Jackson with 40 pts, runner up T. Richardson with 39 pts. C. Grade winner was a visitor C. Evans with 47 pts, runner up S. Edwards with 40 pts. The ladies winner was J. Baulch 39 pts, runner up D. Wall 36 pts. The pin shots were on all holes and received by J. McGrath on 1/10, 2/11 G. Sippel, 3/12 was received by S. Salih, A. Heit received both 4/13 & 5/14, 6/15 B. Hoskin with as Eagle, 7/16 D. Forsyth, 8/17 was received by J. Worley and 9/18 was received by S. Mudde, while the ladies were received by D. Sunday Pennants – Sunday the Boonah Challenge boys had a 5-0 win against Esk at Hattonvale.
