Wednesday the ladies played a stroke competition for Zuzana Evistons trophy. The winner with 69 net was K. Cook, runner up M. Maynard with 73 net. Thanks goes to the Austalian Hotel for sponsoring our pinshots which were received by M. Maynard on 4/13 as well as 8/17. This week will be sponsored by J. Sippel playing a stableford competition.
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by Fassifern Quality Butchers playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner with 33 pts was M. McGarrity, runner up R. Maudsley 29 pts. The run down went to D. Forsyth 27 pts, J. Potter & S. Fahey 25 pts followed by A. Featherstone, P. Ward & T. Lynch with 24 pts. The pin shots were received by T. Lynch on 4, W. Hall received 8, while P. Ward received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner this week was John Potter (Thanks to the Dugandan for sponsoring the dice). This week will be sponsored by A. Hertwech & G. Searle playing a 4 Ball aggregate stroke competition, playing 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Friendly Friday
The Friendly Friday’s had 18 players, playing a stroke 1-9 competition. The winner was R. Featherstone with 27 net, runner up A. Holt with 30 net, followed by G. Henderson 31 net and J. Lynch 32 net. Nearest the pin on the 3rd was received by K. Reinholdsson, 4th was received by T. Farmers while the 8th was received by A. Heit. Saturday was sponsored by the Dover Family as we played the Noel Dover Memorial playing a stableford competition. The winner with 44pts was S. Fahey, runner up was C. Shannon ocb from G. Parker with 40 pts. The run down went to T. Weatherhead 39 pts, J. Handley & M. Grayson 38 pts, followed by A. Gill, P. King, G. Philp & B. Lingard with 37 pts and A. Featherstone, G. Maynard, R. Watkins, J. Comp, J. Gillett & T. Lynch all with 36 pts. The ladies winner was K. Turner 39 pts runner up D. Wall 38 pts followed by K. Cook 37 pts. The pin shots were received by G. Parker on 4/13 the ladies K. Cook, 8/17 was received by G. Balharry the ladies K. Cook and 9/18 was received by R. Cuneo. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by G. Balharry with 2.3 m. This week will be sponsored by G. B. & C. Philp & K. Francis playing a stableford/monthly mug competition. Next week will be the Darvall Cup playing a stroke on both Saturday & Sunday. We played the mixed foursomes. The winners with 117 were A. Brown & G. Sippel, runners up K. Turner & B. Freiberg 121. The net winners were L. Edwards & B. May 105&1/2, runners up A. Brown & G. Sippel 107&1/4 followed by B. Frieberg & K. Turner 107&1/2, A. Heit & J. Baulch 108, G. & Z. Eviston 108&1/2 and A. & R. Featherstone 108&1/4. This week we have a Social Club teeing off at 8 am, Chookies & Social players can tee off before 7.30 if walking. If wanting a buggy please ring the clubhouse to see when any are available.
