Sporters

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Geoff Parker playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.  The winner with 28 pts was W. Gnech, runner up B. May 26 pts.  The run down went to G. Parker 27 pts, J. Browning & T. Farmers 25 pts and W. Hall & J. Lynch 24 pts.  Nearest the pins were received by T. Farmers on 4, W. Hall on 8, while B. Hutchinson received 9.  This week will be sponsored by Boonah Tyre Service playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by G. Sorensen playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.

Friendly Friday

Friday 11 players teed off for a stableford 10 – 18 competition.  The winner with 18 pts was B.  Jones, runner up A. Featherstone 17 pts, followed by R. Fitzgerald & R. Watkins 16 pts.  The ntp’s were received by R. Fitzgerald on the 13th while the 17th was received by V. Wilson.  Come along and enjoy the friendship of playing 9 holes, but don’t forget we now tee off at 2.30 for the winter season……………  See you all there.

Saturday

Saturday was sponsored by The Kooralbyn Boys as we played the Pacific Golfer Challenge.  The winners with 43 pts were G. & C. Philp, runners up were N. Hughes & K. Adie with 42 pts.  Next best were M. Bennet & R. Watkins, D. Mortimer & P. Manitta and B. May & S. Hughes with 41 pts.  The run down went to P. King & J. McGrath, D. Yeates & C. Shannon, R. Eacott & J. Handley, R. Philp & M. O’Reilly,and D. Forsyth & T. Weatherhead all with 40 pts, followed by S. Fahey & B. Hutchinson, and M. Dickson & C. Shannon with 39 pts.   The pin shots were on all holes and received by K. Adie on 1/10, 2/11 was received by P. King, 3/12 was received by P. Ledlie, V. Christenson recieved 4/13, 6/15 was received by C. Philp, 7/16 was received by P. Manitta while 8/17 was received by B.May, and 9/18 was received by S. Fahey.  The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by A. Brown with 1.4 metres. This week is the Lions Open Day (plenty of room left on the timesheet).  Next week will be sponsored by Noona  B P playing a stroke/monthly medal.  This will also be the next round of the  Pro Steam Cup.

Sunday

No Social Club Sunday, the club house will be open at 8 am if wanting a buggy or else you can come and play at any time.  Ring the club for further details
