Wednesday the ladies played for a club trophy. The winner was M. Maynard, runner up J. Edwards. Both pin shots 4/13 & 8/17 were received by A. Brown.
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by D. Forsyth playing a 2 ball Ambrose 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winners with 41&1/2 were Simon Fahey & A. Featherstone, runners up with 43 net were J. Browning & B. Hutchinson. The run down went to W. Maudsley & F. Johnson 43&1/2, R. Brooks & M. Crowther 44&3/4 followed by R. Cuneo & M. McGarrity 45 net. Nearest the pins were received by R. Cunoe on 4 & 8, while Simon Fahey received 9. This week will be sponsored by M. O’Reilly playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by Joe Dover playing 18 holes of stableford competition.
Friendly Friday
Friday there were 10 players playing a stableford 10-18 competition. The winner was J. Browning with 20 pts, runner up M. Webber 17 pts, followed by A. Heit 16 pts & R. Brooks 15 pts. The pin shot was won by J. Browning. Come along and play a friendly 9 holes, teeing off at 3 pm……………..See you there.

Saturday we played the Ray Chant Memorial sponsored by his family playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner was W. Wieland with 67 net, runner up T. Lynch 70 net, the rundown went to D. Mortimer 71 net, W. & M. Gnech & J. Handley 72 net followed by P. Manitta & T. Grimshaw 73 net and M. O’Reilly 74 net. The ladies winner was A. Brown, runner up G. Buganey. The ntp’s were received R. Cuneo 4/13 the ladies R. Milner, P. Manitta received 8/17, while R. Cuneo received 9/18. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by P. Manitta 1.1 m. This Saturday is sponsored by W. Jackson, B. Freiberg & A. Bennett playing a stableford competition. The next Saturday is sponsored by R. W. Ramsey playing a stroke/monthly medal. The Pro Steam Cup will start on this day (check out the playing conditions at the club). Timesheets are out now. Sunday we have a small Social club. Chookies & Social players are welcomed at anytime after the social club have played their first 9, or ring the club if wanting to play before the Social club tees off, ring the club for further details.
