Monday, some of the Veterans played at Beaudesert.
Ladies
The ladies played a stableford competition for Breast Cancer Perpetual Trophy. This was won by M. Leary with 33 pts, runner up J. Edwards 32 pts. The ntp’s were received by Jan Edwards on 4/13 while Maureen Maynard received 8/17.
Wednesday Sporters
Wednesday was sponsored by Mitre 10 Hardware playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was J. Browning with 45&1/3, runner up Stuart Fahey 47&2/3. The run down went to D. Forsyth 48 net, followed by Simon Fahey and B. Hutchinson 48&1/3 and M. O’Reilly 48&2/3. The best gross was received by J. Browning with 48. Nearest the pins were received by G. Parker on 13, D. Forsyth received 17, while 18 was received by Simon Fahey. Wednesday the sporters play a 18 hole stableford competition sponsored by Pro Steam (B. Hutchinson). This will be a shot gun start at 1 pm. The next Wednesday is a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 sponsored by PFS (Ron Scells)
Friendly Fridays
We had 12 players on Friday playing a Stableford competition. The winner was A. Featherstone with 23 pts, runner up B. Hutchinson 21 net, followed by C. Greet, R. Brooks and M. Leary 21 pts, G. Eviston & Simon Fahey 20 pts and M. McGarrity with 19 pts. The ntp was received by A. Featherstone. Tee off time is now 3pm. For a good afternoon, come along to Friendly Fridays. Saturday
Saturday we played a stroke competition sponsored P. Ledlie, G. Ball & M. Christensen. The winner was J. Gillett 66 net, runner up D. Forsyth 67 net. The run down went P. Manitta 68 net, followed by A. Heit, V. Riley & J. Comp 69 net, P. King 70 net, G. Searle & T. Lynch 71 net, A. Bennett, J. Harris & M. McGarrity 72 net and G. Philp, A. Hertweck & J. Bonk with 73 net. Pins shots were received by D. Mortimer on 4/13, the ladies 4/13 S. Bennet, both 8/17 and 9/18 were received by B. Freiberg. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by J. McGrath. Saturday is a big day, playing a stroke competition as well as the Monthly Medal for November, sponsored by Bendigo Bank. The afternoon time sheet is full, with spots still available in the morning. The next Saturday will be sponsored Raceview Sand & Gravel playing a stableford Monthly Mug.
Chookies
No chookies results this week. Sunday we have the Moreton District Pennants so the Chookies can sleep in this week or come and play a social round in the afternoon.
