Veterans
Some of the Veterans travelled to Warwick on Monday as the boys were coring the greens. The course was closed. No results for the Veterans were handed in.
Ladies
The ladies played a stableford competition sponsored by Marlene Zurvas. Thank you Marlene for your generousity. The winner was Jan Edwards with 38 pts, runner up Anne Brown 37 pts. Nearest the pins were received by B. Podlich on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by J. Baulch.
Wednesday Sporters
Wednesday was sponsored by T. Lynch playing an 18 hole stableford competition. The winner with 43 pts was T. Richardson, runner up B. Hutchinson with 41pts. The run down went to B. May, G. Eviston & T. Lynch with 40 pts, followed by S. Edwards 39 pts, G. Sorenson & H. Gwynne 38 pts, B. Brown & D. Forsyth 37 pts and J. Handley & G. Parker 36 pts. Nearest the pins were received by T. Lynch on 4/13, B. May received 8/17, while 9/18 was received by D. Webster. Wednesday will be a Stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery. Next Wednesday will be sponsored by A. Friendly Fridays
We had 9 players on Friday playing a Mulligans competition. The winner being was A. Henderson with 24 pts, runner up M. Leary on a count back from R. Brooks with 23 pts, followed by M. McGarrity19 pts and Simon Fahey with 18 pts Tee off time is now 3pm. For a good afternoon, come along to Friendly Fridays. All welcome $2 a game for members.

Saturday we played the the K & L Forsyth Memorial sponsored by the Forsyth Family. The Overall Winner was K. Eugarde with 44 pts. The A Grade winner was B. May 42 pts, runner up J. Browning 40 pts, B. Grade winner was G. Benstead 43 pts, runner up C. Shannon 39 pts, C. Grade winner was T. Weatherhead 38 pts, runner up M. M.cGarrity 35 pts. Ladies winner was Z. Eviston 42 pts, runner up A. Brown 36 pts. The rundown went to J. McGrath, A. Browning, M. Gnech and P. Eggenhuizen with 38 pts, T. Lynch, G. Balharry, R. Philp and A. Wells 37 pts, followed by E. Ryan and A. Featherstone 36 pts, and K. Turner 35 pts. Pins shots were received by G. Balharry 4/13, ladies 4/13 K. Turner, 8/17 A. Brown and 9/18 C. Shannon. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by G. Balharry .87 metres. Saturday will be G & W. Lutter Trophy, this will be the Monthly Medal for October. Next week will be the Ambulance Open Day on 13th October.
Chookies
Winner for this week is Myles Murray 21 pts, runner up B. Freiberg 20 pts. No Social Club this week, Chookies can tee off anytime. Also anybody wanting a game of golf with a buggy, the clubhouse will be open 8 am.
