Monday the Veterans played at Canungra. From the few I spoke to a good day was had by all.
Wednesday Sporters

Wednesday will be the Stan McCullough Memorial Trophy sponsored by Simons’ Tavern playing a Stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be Wally Woolgars Trophy spondored by David Woolgar playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Fridays
We had 6 players on Friday with the winner being Margot Leary with 23 pts, runner up M. McGarrity with 21 pts, followed by A. Stick 19 pts & B. Jones with 18 pts. Tee off time is now 2.30. Come along and enjoy a round of friendly 9 holes.
Saturday
Saturday we played a stableford competition sponsored by GTL Transport. Thanks to Snow & Brownie. The winner with 42 pts was A. Heit, runner up with 41pts was P. Ledlie. Paul is our Monthly Mug winner for August. The next best was P. Manitta with 40 pts. The rundown went to M. Bennet 39 pts, B. Hutchinson & J. McGrath 38 pts, B. Freiberg & M. Gnech 37 pts, R. Philp, T. Domjahn & C. Shannon 36 pts and W. Jackson, J. Handley & Simon Fahey with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by G. Knox on 4/13, D. Wall received the ladies, 8/17 was received by S. O’Connell & 9/18 was received by K. Turner. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by B. Freiberg with 3.14 metres. Brad also had an Eagle on 13.
This week will be the Darvall Cup sponsored by Richard Darvall. This will be played over Saturday and Sunday with club trophies on each day. Next week will be a 4BBB sponsored by B. Freiberg, W. Jackson & A. Bennett. Timesheets are out now.
Chookies
This week we will be playing the Darvall Cup so the chookies can have a sleep in until next week.
