Veterans

Last Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner on a count back was V. Riley from runner up T. Lynch and I. Smith all with 34 pts. The rundown continued with D. Forsyth 33 pts, A. Featherstone 32 pts and R. Brooks and K. Cook with 31 pts. The ntp’s were received by M. Simpson on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by R. Brooks, and the ladies was received by K. Cook. The members draw jackpotted again.

 Wednesday Sporters

Last Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 &15. The winner with 28 pts was T. Moller, runner up B. May on a count back from B. Brown and G. Searle all with 27 pts. The run down continued with T. Lynch and A. Featherstone 25 pts and Stuart Fahey with 24 pts. Nearest the pins were received by G. Parker on 4, G. Sorenson on 8, while 9 was received by Simon Fahey. This week will be sponsored by Scenic Rim Pest Management playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next weeks sponsor is to be advised playing a stroke competition 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.

 Friendly Fridays

We had 5 Friendly Friday’s play a back 9 stableford competition. The winner with 21 pts was champion golfer Margo Leary who returned from Cairns to win. Runner up was V. Wilson with 18 pts. Don’t forget the tee off time is now 2.30, so come along and enjoy Friendly Fridays and have a social drink.

 Saturday

Saturday was sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts. The winner with 38 pts on a count back was R. Humphrey from runner up D. Forsyth. The next best was B. Gotke 37 pts, followed by J. McGrath, G. Parker & A. Heit with 36 pts and S. Francis with 35 pts. The ntp’s were received by A. Heit on 4/13, D. Forsyth received 8/17 and 9/18 was received by T. Lynch. This week will be the Keith & Sheila Bartholomew Memorial playing a stroke competition, sponsored by their family. Next week will be Pro Steam trophy day sponsored by Brian Hutchinson. . This will be a 12 O’clock Shot Gun Start with morning tee times finishing at 7.30. Sunday the 1st July will be the Mens & Ladies Foursome Championships. Timesheets are out now.
