Veterans
Last Monday the Veterans played a Stableford Competition. The winner was E. Newlove with 41 pts, runner up B. Jones with 39 pts. The run down went to C. Greet, G. Sippel & C. Shannon all with 38 pts, R. Harrison with 32 pts and V. Wilson & R. Parnell both had 31 pts. The ntp’s were received by B. Jones on 4/13, G. Sippel received 8/17, while K. Cook received the ladies on 8/17. The Encouragement Award went to P. Cooper.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday the Sporters didn’t play due to the rain. This week is John Gilletts Trophy playing a Stableford 10-18 + 7-9 and next week is D. Forsyth’s Trophy playing a 2 Ball Ambrose 1-9 + 16-18.
Friendly Fridays
No Friendly Fridays last week due to the rain. Tee Off is 3pm, looking forward to seeing you all then.
Saturday
Last Saturday was a 4BBB stableford competition sponsored by the Brisbane Boys. It turned out to be a 9 hole comp due to the rain. The winner with 22 pts were M. Grayson & B. Hoskin on a countback from some of the Brisbane Boys P. Dadds & W. Kitchen. Next best were D. Forsyth & J. Gillett also with 22 pts, G. Balharry & M. Savage, G. Schmidt & B. Hoskin and N. Toohey & D. O’Sullivan all had 21 pts. A. & K. Mitchell had 20 pts, while G. Kitchen & T. McCarthy, B. Freiberg & J. Browning, J. Shine & K. Eugarde, R. Philp & M. O’Reilly, A. Gill & G. Maynard, N. Dieckmann & G. Lutter, and M. Gnech & B. May all had 19 pts. Ntp’s were won by B. Freiberg 4/13, 8/17 was received by J. Browning, while D. Wall received the ladies, and 9/18 was received by G. Maynard. The Pro Pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by A. Brown. This week will be the Monthly Medal for February sponsored by Boonah Real Estate, and the following week is the Monthyly Mug for February sponsored by F. Feller from Eyecare Plus.
