No Veterans results were handed in for the week.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday the Sporters was postponed due to the rain. The Championships will now be played 14th and 21st December. The Sporters’ AGM annual break-up will be held at the conclusion of the champioships and Bob Browns’ Day (scheduled for the 21st will be integrated into the prize rundown. The overall Championship Best Gross is being sponsored by Wayne Gnech.
Friendly Fridays
Last Friday 12 players played a Stroke 1-9 event. The winner was R. Brooks with 27 net, runner up was B. Jones on a countback with 31 net, the rundown went to M. Crowther also with 31 net, M. McGarrity with 32 net, T. Lynch, K. Cook & C. Shannon with 34 net, followed by A. Stick with 35 net. Starting time is 3pm.
Saturday
Last Saturday was Fassifern Guardian Trophy. The winner was M. Crowther on a count back from runner up A. Browning, T. Lynch and A. Gill all with 40 pts. The run down went to R. Cuneo 39 pts, N. Hughes and J. Browning with 38 pts, followed by G. Philp with 36 pts. The Monthly Mug winner for 2011 is J. McGrath. The Ladies Winner was A. Brown with 36 pts. The ntp’s were received by J. Stephenson on 4/13 while the ladies was received by A. Brown, 8/17 was received by J. Browning and 9/18 was received by C. Shannon. The Pro Pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently being held by K. Draheim with 3.72m. This week is Closing Day sponsored by F. Johnson, P. Ward, S. & L Edwards. A BBQ will follow close of play. The next few weeks will be a Club Trophy. Timesheets are out now. Our Opening Day will be on the 14th January, 2012 sponsored by Dover & Sons.
Chookies
The Chookies will be held over till next week and can tee off before 7.30.
