Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday the some of the veterans went over to Canungra as course was shut due to coring of the greens.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday was a Sporters Club Trophy, playing a stroke event on 1-9 + 16-18, with the winner being Rob Cuneo with 44&2/3’s, runner up was Rob Brooks with 45 net, the run down went to Gary Searle with 45&1/3, Ron Scells with 45&2/3, Les Roberts with 46&1/3 and Terry Lynch and Dick Forsyth both having 47 net.
The NTP on 4 was received by T. Lynch, 8/17 was received by W. Hall and 9/18 was received by W. Hall. This week will be Mitre 10 Hardware Stableford event playing 10-18 + 7-9, and next week will be Kalbar Real Estate playing a 2 Ball Ambrose 1-9 + 16-18. The Best Gross was received by Glen Sippel with 50.
Friendly Fridays
Last Friday 12 players played a Stableford 1-9 event. The winner was R. Brooks with 25 pts, runner up was J. Pearce 23 pts. The run down went to B. Jones and Simon Fahey with 22 pts followed by C. Greet and R. Clare with 21 pts and Syb Mudde with 20 pts. Don’t forget the new time to start is 3pm, look forward to seeing you all then!
Saturday
Last Saturday was the Boonah Tyrepower Trophy with the winner being M. O’Rielly with 43 pts. The runner up was A. Mitchell with 41pts, followed by P. King with 40 pts, V. Riley and K. Mitchell both with 39 pts and B. May beating G. Maynard and G. Ball on a count back, all had 38 pts. The rundown went to G. Ball 38 pts, Z. Jenner, and T. Weatherhead with 37 pts, followed by S. Mudde, T. Richardson and G. Parker with 36 pts and G. Sippel, R. Humphrey, Stuart Fahey, R. Eacott, J. Bonk and J. Gillett all with 35 pts. Congratulations to Vic Riley who had an eagle. The ladies winner was D. Wall with 28 pts, runner up K. Cook with 27 pts. The ntp’s were received by P. King on 4/13 while the ladies was received by D. Wall, 8/17 was received by G. Maynard and 9/18 was received by G. Ball. The Long Drive went to J. Browning. This week will be J. Handley, J. McGrath & P. King sponsoring a Monthly Medal event with Mens A. B. & C Grade plus Ladies prizes, and the following week is the Emergency Services Open Day, I am sure there will be lots of prizes on offer. Timesheets are out now.

The Chookies will be held over to next week. This week the Chookies can tee off any time.
