Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday veterans played a single Stableford event and the winner for the day was Phil Cooper having a count back of 41 points and the runner up was Murray Simpson having 41 points also following in the rundown were D Yeates, M Maynard and A Featherstone each having 36 points, K Cook had 35 points and C Greet had 34 points. The NTP on 4/13 was received by K Cook, the mens 8/17 was received by M Simpson and the ladies 8/17 was received by K Cook. The encouragement award went to L Brasington.
Wednesday Sporters
Last week Boonah BP held a single Stableford 10-18+7-9 event for their trophy day, the winner for the afternoon was Elwyn Newlove having 28 points and the runner up was Rob Cuneo having a count back of 27 points following in the rundown were M McGarrity, D Webster and B Hubble each having 27 points also, P Ward and R Scells each had 26 points and M Crowther finished up with 24 points. The NTP on 13 was received by P Manitta, 8/17 was received by D Forsyth and 9/18 was received by G Sippel. This week we play a 2 Ball Ambrose 1-9+16-18 event for AIS Insurance Brokers Trophy Day and the following week we play a single Stableford 10-18+7-9 event for Fassifern Quality Butchers trophy day.
Friendly Fridays
Last week the Friday Club held a single Stableford 10-18 event for the evening and the winner for the afternoon was Clive Greet having 21 points and the runner up was M McGarrity having 20 points following in the rundown were S Mudde with 19 points, R Brooks with 18 points and T Lynch with 17 points. Tee off time is for 2.30pm. See you all then!
Saturday
Last Saturday seen a huge array of prizes for GTL Transport’s Trophy Day (Snow Larrescy) unfortunately the weather did turn a few players away as we only finished up with 24 players. The competition played on the day was a 4BBB Stroke event and the winners for the day were an incredible 59 Nett and the runners up were M O’Reilly and John Gillett having 65 Nett, second runners up were G Knox and P Ledlie with 67 Nett, third runners up were J Briggenshaw and P Ledlie with 68 Nett, fourth runners up were T Lynch and T Weatherhead with 68 Nett, fifth runners up were T Lynch and K Cook with 69 Nett following in the rundown were G Parker and S Mudde with 71 Nett, K Mitchell and C Mitchell with 71 Nett, R Eacott and J McGrath with 71 Nett, A Hertweck and T Richardson with 71 Nett and D Wall and G Philp with 70 Nett. The mens NTP on 4/13 was received by A Hertweck, ladies NTP 4/13 was received by K Cook, 8/17 was received by P Ledlie, 9/18 was received by M Grayson. This Saturday and Sunday being Darvall Cup (2 day single stroke event). The Holden Scramble is the following Saturday, for those playing would be greatly appreciated to have forms filled out prior to the event, so please come in when you have your team arranged to fill out your form. Chookies
There were no chookies last Sunday due to a shot gun start for the PA Knights social club. No chookies once again this Sunday due to the Darvall Cup competition, there will be no social play till after 3pm, thank you.
